The Gloucester Outlaws 8U cheerleading squad took second place, while the 12U squad placed third in the E2E Cheerleading competition on Oct. 13 in Richmond. E2E is a Richmond-based football and cheerleading league founded by former Super Bowl champion Michael Robinson. The league stresses the importance of academic achievement requiring acceptable grades and behavior for all their youth athletes. The Lady Outlaws competed against other squads within E2E from age divisions 8-14 years old and took home first, second and third place. The Outlaws 10U cheerleaders, winners of their age group, are fundraising for a trip to a national competition in Los Angeles with an event tonight at Juan's Mexican Cantina and Café, a bowling fundraiser Saturday at Village Lanes, and a car wash at JW's Car Wash on Sunday.
