EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) - Some Socorro ISD elementary students are bringing their talents to new heights as they dominate middle and high school cheerleading competitions across the city.
The John Drugan cheerleading team, composed of students in grades 3 through 6, has won five Grand Championships and 10 Divison Championships over the past three years.
"It's honestly so fun to be a part of this team," 4th grader Anaian Najera tells KTSM. "I love how hard we work to achieve our goal by practicing the hardest we can."
