When is The Good Cop released on Netflix?
Brand new police comedy, The Good Cop is starting on Netflix[1] this week.
All episodes will drop on the streaming service on Friday, September 21.
Josh Groban and Tony Danza lead the cast in what is set to be a modern reimagining of The Odd Couple.
How to watch The Good Cop online
The Good Cop is a Netflix Original so will be available to watch exclusively on Netflix.
There are 10 episodes in total, all of which will be released in one go.
Those with a subscription to the streaming service can simply stream the show from Friday.
It will be available from midnight in the US (California time) and from 8am on Friday morning in the UK.
Netflix now allows users to download certain series onto smaller devices such as phones and tablets.
So episodes can also be downloaded from Friday.
Who is in the cast of The Good Cop?
Comedy veteran Tony Danza stars as retired corrupt cop Tony Caruso Sr.
His on-screen son, Tony Jr is played by musician Josh Groban.
Monica Barbaro stars as Cara Vasquez.
Isaiah Whitlock plays Burl Loomis.

What is the plot of The Good Cop?
The official synopsis is: “In The Good Cop, Tony Danza plays Big Tony, a lovable yet not exactly honourable, former NYPD officer who never followed the rules.
“He lives with his son, TJ, Josh Groban, a brilliant, straight-laced NYPD detective who makes a point of always following the rules while solving Brooklyn’s toughest cases.
“This ‘odd couple’ become unofficial partners as Tony Sr. offers his overly-cautious son blunt, street-wise advice.”
The series is inspired by a format from Israeli series.
