Game of Thrones ^[1] came to an end on HBO ^[2] and Sky ^[3] Atlantic earlier this year to a rather varied reception, to say the least. Despite the mixed criticism of the shortest-ever season of the fantasy drama, GOT still racked up an impressive 32 Emmy nominations and has gone to be the most-talked-about show of 2019. With so much hype surrounding the final season of the George RR Martin ^[4]-created drama, many are still wanting to watch the series online and, luckily, there are a number of streaming options available in order to do so.

In the USA ^[5], it was HBO who played home for Game of Thrones.

As such, when every episode in season one all the way through to eight aired on the network, HBO allowed customers to live stream via its website at the same time.

Luckily, all 73 episodes are still available to watch online thanks to HBO.

Fans will need to subscribe to either HBO GO or HBO MAX in order to start streaming.

The options don’t stop there for US-based GOT fans.

Hulu ^[7] offers its subscribers the chance to add HBO content to their packages.

The good news is fans can enjoy HBO programming for free via Hulu as well.

As part of a seven-day free trial, fans could stream Game of Thrones to their heart’s content for no additional cost.

However, once the week trial is up, HBO costs an additional $14.99 a month on Hulu plans.

In the UK, it’s a much different story when it comes to streaming GOT seasons one to eight.

In fact, the only way to watch Game of Thrones online in the UK is via Amazon Prime ^[9].

Despite every season airing on Sky Atlantic and NOW TV, neither service has season eight or its predecessors available to watch now.

Instead, fans will have to sign up to Amazon ^[10] in order to purchase every episode.

Amazon allows customers to stream episodes from £2.49 a go.

GOT fans can purchase whole seasons on the online store as well – each one varying in cost.

One-off documentary Game of Thrones: The Last Watch is also available to stream at the same price.

Whichever way fans decide to watch Game of Thrones online, they’ll undoubtedly pick up on a few moments they have missed before.

It could be the five times in season eight that proved the series was “rushed”^[12] or the famous coffee cup scene ^[13] which hit headlines in the final series.

Game of Thrones seasons 1-8 are available to stream on Amazon Prime now.
