A former high school cheerleader from Ohio who was accused of killing her newborn baby is asking for three separate trials to face her five charges.
According to the New York Post, Brooke Skylar Richardson,20, wants three separate trials to face her five charges after being accused of killing her newborn baby in 2017. Richardson was 18 when she allegedly told a doctor that she gave birth to a stillborn baby named 'Annabelle.' and burned the body then buried it in her parents' backyard. Prosecutors explained that Richardson gave birth to the newborn inside at her Carlisle home, days after her senior prom.
Her friends and family stated she hid her pregnancy from them and prosecutors alleged that she intentionally caused the baby's death. Richardson was charged with involuntary manslaughter, gross abuse of a child, aggravated murder, tampering with evidence and child endangering.

Her attorneys requested if their client can have three separate trials so she could face the five charges and make it easier for her to have a fair trial.
