BECKLEY, WV (WVNS) - A local cheer and gymnastics center held an Easter Cheer Camp on Friday, April 19.

Cheer Revolution hosted around 100 cheer loving kids. They learned the fundamentals to cheerleading. 

Cheer Revolution Coach, Mary Beth Garcia, said it is important for kids to know the basics.

"We do these camps to get kids to understand and parents the fundamentals of cheerleading. So that cheerleading can be in all aspects, it doesn't just have to be all-star," Garcia said. 

Garcia said if you missed out on the Easter Cheer Camp, keep an eye on their Facebook page for summer camps.
