Bowling

Southland: The Frankfort Park District will hold bowling lessons, open to ages 6 and older, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays from April 2 to May 7, at Thunder Bowl, 18700 S. LaGrange Road, Mokena. Cheerleading

Crete: The Crete Bulldogs football program will hold registration for cheerleaders for the 2019 season from 9 a.m. to noon March 16, 6 to 8 p.m. March 28, and 9 a.m. to noon April 13 at Crete Town Hall, 1367 Wood St. The program is open to kids who will be in kindergarten through eighth grade in the fall. Fees: $135 if registered before April 13, $175 after. $100 uniform deposit required to be returned at the end of the season. Bring a copy of birth certificate and health insurance. Football

Crete: The Crete Bulldogs will hold registration for the 2019 season from 6 to 8 p.m. March 28, and 9 a.m. to noon April 13 at Crete Town Hall, 1367 Wood St. The program is open to kids ages 6 to 15. Players must not have entered high school by the fall. Fees: $135 if registered before April 13, $175 after. $100 equipment deposit required to be returned at the end of the season. Frankfort: The Frankfort Park District will host a Fire Starters spring outdoor soccer league, conducted by the Fire Starters staff, from April 9 to June 1 at Commissioners Park, 22108 S. 80th Ave. The league is open to kids ages 4 through sixth graders, who will be split into age groups. Practices will be held Tuesday nights and games will be played on Saturday mornings and afternoons. Fees: $100 resident, $105 nonresident. Register by March 26 to avoid a $10 late fee.
