Eight players, six cheerleaders from KMAland conferences highlight Shrine Bowl roster - KMAland

(KMAland) -- Eight players and six cheerleaders from KMAland conference schools will participate in this year's Iowa Shrine Bowl All-Star Football Classic.

On Saturday, July 20th, the 47th Annual Iowa Shrine Bowl is set to be played at the UNI Dome in Cedar Falls. The Iowa Shrine Bowl has raised up to $2.6 million for The Shriner's Hospitals for Children.

On this year's South Team are Tri-Center's Bryant Barrier, St. Albert's Adam Gubbels, Brady Lorimor of Sidney, AHSTW's Gabe Pauley and Clarinda's William Shull.

On the North squad is A.J. Ellington from Sergeant Bluff-Luton, Dawson Fenson of Bishop Heelan Catholic and Sioux City East's Nathan Zyzda.

Fremont-Mills' Vanessa Belt and Sophia Murphy, Lewis Central's Kortnie Getzschman and Lacy McIntosh and AHSTW's Kaitlynn Henriksen and Emily Roskens are all on the cheer squad.
