Former WWE Smackdown women's champion Carmella, whose real name is Leah Van Dale, is the daughter of Paul Van Dale, who wrestled in the then-World Wrestling Federation (now World Wrestling Entertainment) as an enhancement talent during the 1980s and '90s.
Carmella credits her dad with helping train her and helping her grow as an athlete.
Carmella, who won the first-ever women's Money in the Bank Match (and the second), is a former New England Patriots and Los Angeles Lakers cheerleader.
