Nonnewaug Cheerleaders Take Another Trophy Home - Just Woodbury

The Nonnewaug High School cheerleading team finished fourth in the Hawks Nest Cheer Fest at Woodland High School on Saturday.

In addition to the fourth-place finish, senior co-captain Kat Segui finished second in the jumping competition.

The Chiefs are led by head coach Trisha Gunning and assistant coach Jovanna Mancini. The team captains are seniors Amanda Pellino, Ashlynn Vidic, and Segui.

Including the captains, Nonnewaug's 2018-19 cheerleaders are Sophia Amatruda, Emily Betkoski, Kiley Bushka, Natalie Smart, Makenzie Ouellette, Autumn Johnson, KristalAnn Curry, Amanda Wochek, Marissa Uva, Eliza Bassett, Kamden Bushka, Cailin Ryan, Kate Pagnamenta, and Jenny Laneville.
