Randolph/Holbrook cheerleaders qualify for Nationals - Wicked Local Holbrook

The Randolph/Holbrook Pop Warner cheerleaders placed second in the New England Pop Warner Cheer and Dance Competition at the Tsongas Arena, Lowell, to qualify for the Nationals in Disney World, Florida.

The girls took the silver with the theme, "Got Your Six," honoring the women on the police force. There were more than 80 teams in various dance and cheer categories.

They now can compete in the Pop Warner National Cheerleading Competition at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando. At Nationals, the Blue Devils will compete against the top cheerleading teams in the nation.

The Randolph/Holbrook Blue Devil cheerleaders made it to the Nationals in Florida in 2015 where it placed fifth in their division.

Other than Go Fund Me, the squad hosted a Back the Blue Rally to support local police officers at the RICC in Randolph, where there was a bake sale, 50/50 raffle and raffle baskets. There also will be a meat raffle at the Pour House in Avon on Nov. 24, and the cheerleaders also are canning at local businesses.

The cheerleaders are: Chloe Ackles, Arielle Austin, Brianna Blake, Isabella Blake, Lauren "Hip-Hop" Conlon, Savannah Ferreira, (Norma) Kendall Laurent, Kamila Martinez, Rachel McDonough, Kiki "Torch" Powell, Madison "Maddie" Ramdehal, Annabella Sanxaridis and Haylie Hoyte.

Jenn Abramson is the cheer coordinator, and Alexis Abramson and Cristine Ackles are coaches.
