A pair of Portsmouth Pop Warner cheerleading squads will participate in the 2019 Pop Warner National Cheer & Dance Championships.
The national competition is scheduled for Dec. 7-14 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, which is located in the Walt Disney World Resort in Bay Lake, Fla., near Orlando.
One Portsmouth Pee Wee Division squad is comprised of 10- and 11-year-olds, and the other Pee Wee Division team is filled with cheerleaders who are 12 and 13.
Cheerleaders on the younger team are Peyton Brady, Abbie Collins, Averey Dansereau, Malina Dooley, Sophia Emsley, Bailey Gallagher, Summer Hull, Gabriella Johnson, Brooke O'Brien, Sophia Sebolt, Emma Squires, Brooklyn Sullo, Alexa Torello, Maren Townsend and Grace Zamil.
Lauren Stevens is the head coach, Heather Emsley and Dorathy Goncalo are assistant coaches, Tara Thomas is the associate coordinator and Jessica O'Brien is the team parent.
The 12- and 13-year-old cheerleaders are Roxanne Anderson, Grace Ashman, Teagan Barry, Abigail Bryske, Alexis Caldwell, Kimberley Cook, Brianna Farias-Rhea, Isabella Feroce, Lilliana Feroce, Lily Gaiser Borges, Shea Heelan, Gabriella Humes, Molly Hurd, Madison Jenkins, Madison McKinney, Charlotte Milligan, Nadaline Mitchell, Ashley Murphy, Rebecca Natale, Olivia O'Connor, Yasmine Osman, Kayla Parsons, Emma Rearick, Avery Roman and Megan Roskelly.
Theresa Cianciolo is the head coach, Jen Ashman, Kayla Jenkins and Kristin Rhea are assistant coaches and Thomas is the associate coordinator.
