Upper Sandusky's Minis reached for the sky and brought home the gold in their division at the Wyandot County Fair's 2019 cheerleading competition Saturday.
UPPER SANDSUKY — School spirit and plenty of gymnastic feats were on display Saturday evening at the Wyandot County Fair cheerleading competition.
Squads in various age groups took to the mat and performed their routines with panache in front of competition judges, family and fairgoers alike.
Division winners at the competition Saturday evening were as follows:
• Tiny – Upper Sandusky Tiny
• Mini – Upper Sandusky Mini
• Midget – Riverdale Midgets
• Jr. High – Riverdale Jr. High
• Jr. High Non-Tumbling – Galion Middle School
• Small Varsity Tumbling – Riverdale Varsity
• Varsity Non-Tumbling – Van Buren High School
• Varsity – Spencerville High School
Grand champion of the overall competition Saturday was the Riverdale Midgets squad.
