The agency operates according to provisions in an agreement approved by Orange County commissioners in 2007 that requires Visit Orlando to use its best efforts to promote tourism attractions, accommodations and amenities here in Orange County, including the Convention Center, while increasing the numbers and quality of visitors, conventions and trade shows.
