Child Care: The Y offers low-cost child care for children ages 3 months to 6 years while their parent exercises at the Y. The hours are Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, 8:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.; Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:45 to 11:15 a.m.; and Monday through Friday, 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. The fees are as low as $62 for twenty 90-minute visits. Drop-in fees are $10 per visit. The Y offers group exercise classes, lap swimming, water fitness classes, and cardio and strength machines during child watch hours. Chronic Pain Help: The Y has several programs that will help people dealing with chronic pain. Some of the options are yoga, tai chi, enhanced fitness classes, balancing and stretching classes, water therapy, water fitness and the First Step Fitness Program. Most of these classes are free with a YMCA membership. Financial aid is available and can cover up to 70 percent of the fees. For more information, call 413-773-3646, ext. 416.

Cheerleading Camp: July 1 to 3, you can give your cheerleader (ages 8 and up) a safe space with mats and a spring floor to work on tumbling, stunts and jumps. With both experienced gymnasts and cheerleaders on staff, this three-day intensive camp will help any cheerleader to bring more power and skill to the game. Camp will run from noon to 4 p.m. Fee for the three days is $150 for Y members, $160 for program associates and $170 for non-members.

Superhero Camp: Superheroes (ages 4 to 7) will develop their superpowers and train to safely use them while learning super stunts like running up walls, sliding along "ledges" and swinging away from danger. They finish the week with a special display of their new super skills for family and friends. This half-day camp runs from noon to 4 p.m., July 8 to 12. Summer Track & Field: For $5 per person per night, ages 2 to 16 can participate in running, throwing and jumping events at Mohawk Trail Regional School. Mondays, July 8, 15, 22 and 29, and Aug. 5 and 12. Registration starts at 5:15 p.m. with events kicking off at 5:30. The sports offered are basketball, recess games, Gaga ball, dodgeball, flag football and multi-sport. There are half-day options for 9 a.m. to noon, or full day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Early care from 6 to 9 a.m. and late care from 4 to 6 p.m. options are available.
