Los Alamos Youth Football and Cheerleading registration is now open for our fall 2019 season. CAges 4-12 can come participate in building athleticism, teamwork and fun. You don't have to have any experience as our coaches will train up kids, teaching them proper form and safety while out on the field or cheering on the sidelines.
Last year both our Division 1 was undefeated and Division 3 lost one game, but both teams came in first place, winning the championship over-all in the league which covers northern and central New Mexico. The LA cheer team competed in two competitions and brought home 2nd and 3rd place trophies.
A very special thanks to our 2018 sponsors: RPM Automotive, J& L Self Storage and Vans, KJM Auto Body & Glass, CB Fox, El Parasol, Zia Credit Union, Longview Storage, Don Taylor, Henry Valencia GM of Espanola, and PL Dufay Aviation Management. As our league grows, we are very excited to kick off 2019.Seeing these kids come out every day, practice with such enthusiasm, building relationships, having fun and succeeding in team goals is something we strive for each year! We hope to increase enrollment and fill all divisions for this year.
Division 1, ages 4-6 flag, divisions 2-4, ages 7-12 are tackle and cheer for ages 4-12.
We are still very much in need of a head coach for our Division 1 flag as well as a head and assistant coaches for our cheer team. If you have any interested, please email us at losalamosextreme@gmail.com.
Los Alamos Hilltopper football team is holding a youth camp on July 8-9, from 5 p.m. yo 7:30 p.m. at Sullivan field. Many of our players participate in this, and we encourage anyone who would like to learn more about football, to come on out. This is a fun time for our young players to get to learn from and play with the Toppers. Registration is $20 at the field.
