The Philadelphia Eagles will have their first male cheerleader on the sidelines this fall.

Kyle Tanguay, a junior dance major at the University of the Arts, was selected to the squad Tuesday night.

Tanguay is the fourth male cheerleader in the NFL. In February, Quinton Peron and Napoleon Jinnies, two Los Angeles Rams cheerleaders, became the first men to cheer at the Super Bowl. The duo inspired Jesse Hernandez, who tried out for and made the Saintsations, the New Orleans Saints' dance team.

Now, Tanguay is a member of the Eagles team.

According to Tanguay's website, he's from Rochester, N.H., and he started dancing when he was 10 years old.

The Eagles held their final audition show Tuesday night, ending a process that began in March.
