WALTERBORO: Aryah Elizabeth Thomas passed away Wednesday evening, April 3, 2019 at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, surrounded by her loving and devoted family, from injuries she received in an automobile accident last Saturday.  She was four years old.

Aryah was born August 20, 2014 a daughter of LaChristen Elizabeth Thomas.  She was a precious daughter who was currently in the pre-school program at Black Street Elementary School.  Aryah recently became a cheerleader for the Colleton County Recreation Center, and was a "Miss Rice Festival Sweetheart" and a "Miss Watermelon Festival Sweetheart".  She loved watching  "My Little Pony" and singing along with the Disney movie "Frozen", and her favorite foods were soft tacos and Dominos thin crust pizzas!  She loved being a "big sister", and she possessed a beautiful personality and a caring heart.  Though her passing was unexpected and tragic, she was a hero that will live on in spirit through the unselfish gift of organ donation her family made…saving the lives of eight other children.  As Jesus said…."suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me; for such as theirs is the kingdom of Heaven".

In addition to her mother LaChristen (Tylor Sapp), she is survived by her brother Easton Ray Sapp, by her maternal grandmother Crystal Crosby, and by her paternal grandfather Nolan Arthur "Trae" Thomas III (Lorraine Barnes Thomas).  She leaves behind her maternal great-grandmother, Karen Driggers, and her paternal great-grandmother Deborah Cummins (Jeffrey).  Aryah has three loving uncles, Nolan Arthur Thomas IV (Wilmarie), Cameron Donald Thomas, and Eli James Thomas, as well as a host of extended family and devoted and loving friends.

Services for Aryah are incomplete at this time, but will be announced Friday by Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, 117 Paul St., Walterboro.
