Ben Stiller and Olympia Dukakis join the celebrity schedule at the 2019 Montclair Film Festival, festival organizers announced on Friday.

The festival, which runs from May 3 to 12, is in its eighth year.

On May 5, Stiller, 53, will be "in conversation" with Stephen Colbert, a Montclair resident and longtime cheerleader of the festival who hosts an annual fundraiser for the event. Colbert's wife, Evelyn McGee-Colbert, is the president of the festival's board of trustees.

Dukakis, 87, will attend a Q&A after a screening of the Harry Mavromichalis film "Olympia," also on May 5. The documentary tells the story of the veteran actress.

The 2019 Montclair Film Festival will open with "Wild Rose," directed by Tom Harper. Jessie Buckley, the film's star, will be present for a Q&A. The movie follows a Scottish ex-con and mother who dreams of moving to Nashville to become a country music star.

On March 29, festival organizers announced that Mindy Kaling, star of the upcoming film "Late Night," would be attending the festival. Kaling will appear at a post-screening Q&A and in conversation with Colbert on May 4. The "Late Show" host will talk to Kaling about the film, which she wrote, which centers on a late-night talk show host (Emma Thompson) who hires her only female staff writer (Kaling).

On May 7, Nicholas Hoult and Lily Collins will also be at the Montclair Film Festival for a Q&A after a screening of their film "Tolkien" (due out on May 10), a biopic of J.R.R. Tolkien. Colbert, who is a "Lord of the Rings" superfan, and the film's director, Dome Karukoski, will be at the event. This Q&A will be broadcast live to movie theaters in other parts of the country via Fathom Events, which is a first for the festival.

Also announced on Friday: documentary filmmaker Erin Lee Carr ("Mommy Dead and Dearest"), daughter of the late New York Times writer and Montclair resident David Carr, will be at the festival on May 11 to talk about her memoir "All That You Leave Behind."
