Little Buc cheerleaders conclude 2019 season - Record Delta

TENNERTON —The Buckhannon-Upshur Middle School cheerleaders finished their 2018-2019 season on Sunday, March 17 with a banquet at the 88 Restaurant. 

"We were very busy this year with practices, football and basketball games and competitions," remarked head coach Christina Nestor. "The cheerleaders not only excelled in these areas but in the classroom as well. We finished a six-month season with an overall GPA of 3.6.

The middle school cheerleaders received numerous awards during competition season in the areas of cheer/technical, sideline cheering and individual awards in tumbling and jumping. 

The team was also awarded a sportsmanship award during competition.

"We would like to thank the community and parents for all of your support," noted Nestor. "We are looking forward to the 2019-2020 season."
