A former Gouverneur teacher found guilty of immoral conduct wants her job back.
Nancy Hay claims the Gouverneur school district wrongfully fired her last October.
A lawsuit she's filed contends the school district relied on uncorroborated evidence.
Her firing came after she had been accused by police of hosting five drinking parties for school cheerleaders at her home.
She pleaded guilty to a lesser charge in Gouverneur town court in February.
Arguments in the lawsuit were heard in St. Lawrence County Supreme Court on Tuesday.
