Around the Yard: Army Rabble Rousers head to Nationals and other stories - Against All Enemies

Army's cheerleaders, known as the Rabble Rousers or Rabs as they are sometimes referred to among cadets, are a staple of most Army athletic events, especially football games. Along with the Army Mule team, Mech/Civil Engineering Department cannon crew, and Black Knight, the Rabs are tireless in their quest to pump up cadets and other Army fans. However, instead of leading the Corps of Cadets in "the Rocket" or On Brave Old Army Team, the Rabble Rousers are heading to Florida to compete in the 2019 National Cheerleading Association Cheer and Dance Championship.

Army football is generating some buzz this week with an inspiring article about linebacker Amadeo West's youth and path to West Point, as well as an apparently "viral" video of a competition drill prior to heading into the Black and Gold Game next weekend. Seems like the Black Knights are really getting after it.
