The Baltimore Ravens made two splash signings during NFL free agency with the acquisitions of former Seattle Seahawks safety Earl Thomas and former New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram.

Thomas, 29, inked a four-year, $55 million deal with $32 million fully guaranteed. The deal includes $22 million in the first nine months, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The former first-round pick out of Texas played eight seasons in Seattle and finished his career with 465 solo tackles, 10 forced fumbles, 28 interceptions, and 69 passes defensed.

Thomas broke his left leg in Week 4 of the 2018 season and had surgery a few days later, according to ESPN. The six-time Pro Bowler replaces former Ravens safety Eric Weddle who was signed by the Los Angeles Rams.

Ingram signed a three-year, $15 million deal and was optimistic he would re-sign with the Saints who wanted him back.

When the two sides were unable to come to terms on a deal, New Orleans signed free agent running back Latavius Murray to a four-year, $14 million deal.

The two-time Pro Bowl running back finished his Saints career with 6,007 yards and 50 touchdowns.

Ingram finished last season with 645 yards and 6 touchdowns, but was suspended by the NFL for the first four games of the season.

The former first-round pick from Alabama was splitting carries with Saints Pro Bowl running back Alvin Kamara, and the two were a lethal tandem. But Ingram presumably will be the featured back in Baltimore.
