Green Level is currently serving as the temporary home for Apex High School while its school is renovated. The renovations will be completed this year, Apex will move back to its original location, and Green Level will become its own school with freshmen and sophomores.
Green Level is located on Roberts Road in Cary. It's a 322,888 square foot, four-story high school with a capacity of 2,262 students. According to Wake County Schools, the gymnasium will seat 2,300 people and the football stadium seats 2,500 fans.
Green Level, which won't field a varsity football team this fall but should field varsity teams in other sports, will join the Tri-6 Conference with Athens Drive, Cary, Green Hope, Jordan, Panther Creek and Riverside. Hillside will also join the conference next school year, making it the Tri-8.
