Seniors from Canandaigua Academy, Red Jacket, Honeoye, Midlakes and Bloomfield are part of the annual doubleheader on March 23

The 34th annual Ronald McDonald House All-Star basketball games will be played on Saturday, March 23, at Rush-Henrietta High School.

Between games for boys and girls, 58 players and 20 cheerleaders from across Section V were selected to participate in the basketball doubleheader that raises funds for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Rochester. The event has raised more than $350,000 since 1986.

The girls game begins at 1 p.m. with the boys to follow at 3. Tickets are $6 at the door and $5 in advance. Tickets can be purchased from the players and/or cheerleaders or by calling Rich Dibble at (585) 410-1153.

Honeoye senior Lydia Hall will sing "The Star Spangled Banner" before each game.
