The Grangeville High cheerleaders placed first in all four District I-II state qualifier events held Saturday, Feb. 23, in Coeur d'Alene, and will compete at the Ford Idaho Center March 16 in Nampa. GHS won the 2A district's co-ed show routine, pom routine, sideline routine and co-ed group stunt events. The team also brought home the District I-II 2A grand champion trophy for the first time in school history, coach Renita Lee told the Free Press Saturday night.
